SB: $9.55 (95.5 bb)
BB: $14.73 (147.3 bb)
UTG: $10 (100 bb)
MP: $10 (100 bb)
CO: $9.78 (97.8 bb)
Hero (BTN): $12.45 (124.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with Q♥: K♠:
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.25, SB folds, BB raises to $1, Hero raises to $2.20, BB folds

villain tot 3b from bb is 17, fold to 4b 50%

i understand here is a very easy call, and i can call with KTo as well, and by 4b i isolate myslef against range that dominates me.
what could an instance where i could depolarize by 4b range? if he folds very little?
and is it a range like this more appropriate to 4b?
KK-JJ, AKs, A6s, A4s-A2s, K8s-K4s, Q8s-Q7s, AKo

Standard call for me pre. And I don't think you can call with KTo.

Important question: How many hands do you have on villain?

What is the range you put there?

around 300 hands, range is 4b
why not KTo vs around 16% 3b range????

300 hands is too small to get accurate 3bet stats by position. Or is that 300 hands total or 300 hands from BB?
If that is 300 hands total and you play 6max, villain has been on BB only 50 times and with 16% 3bet he has 3bet only 8 hands which is way too small sample to know for sure how wide he really is 3betting.

Why 4bet KTo? It is weak. If you want to defend vs his high 3bet you can call wider. If your goal is to 4bet more and do it depolarized you have better hands to do that with. Like AQ,AJ,AT,KQs. If he folds very little vs 4bets I see no reason to start expanding the bluff side of our range.

i meant call with KTo vs high freq of 3b, and you are actually right with sample. thanks!
it was misunderstanding and also mistake for me to immagine KQo into depolarized range anyways since it plays fine IP in a 3b pot

Well i think that KQo is a call preflop.
KTo appears in the top 15% of hands and I do not think we can play it profittbly.
