Hello there.

I'll use this blog to post my graphs, interesting hands and state of mind
Also to receive feedback from the experienced guys on the forums and provide the same thing to the less experienced ones.
About me - I'm 22 years old student , my major is International Economic Relations.
Living with my girlfriend and one more girl.
I've been playing poker for about 7 years now :f_biggrin:, but nothing serious, I've never had the discipline or mental stability(tilt problems) to take it serious.
For this time I've been through pretty much every format out there - CGs,MTTs, SNGs, Spins , etc... Won here and there , but withdrawed after tilt.:f_biggrin:
In the next 3 months I'll try to learn more about the game.
Goals - there are not in particular order
:diamond: Minimise play when not concentrated , stop clicking buttons - play poker!
Beat NL5 with 50k hands as minimum sample
Work on my mental game
Read atleast one poker book
Become a consistent winner on NL10
After 3 months I'll go to USA for the summer so the ultimate goal would be :spade: Don't loose all your hard earned money through the summer in Vegas : :profit:

Current stakes,Bankroll,Software used
:heart:I'm playing 6max cash tables on Pokerstars!
Playing anywhere from 6 to 12 tables at a time depending on how much soft tables I can find
Using PT4 / TableScan /Table Optimizer as software.
I've beaten NL2 over 60k+ hands for about a week.
Half of those hands were played on ZOOM tables with BE results.
Once i've switched to regulars I've found it far easier to find fishes and exploit them.

:spade: NL2 ZOOM RESULTS :spade:
 NL2 REGULAR TABLES RESULTS

Last 2 days i'm taking shots at NL5 Regular Tables.
:diamond: Results NL5 so far :diamond:

:spade: Interesting Hands :spade:
From now on I'll post them in text history , but since I couldn't find them in PT4 you'll have to watch them on Boom player just this time.
Bluff went wrong ... or did it?
Giving away stacks ... or am I?
Both of these hands are played versus a reg who I have 600+ hands on and we were playing on 6 tables together at the time , so we had a dynamic going on.
Under normal circumstances both of these hands are retardedly play from me.

Hi,

Nice structure and easy to see your goals, when it comes to videos i would recommend anything from w34z3l and KrisRukov, not sure which videos is available for your status but you can check in the video section.

Did you check out our https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=325001 ? a great way to stay motivated and also a chance to bag some prizes

Good luck at the tables :f_thumbsup:

So on to the update -> which I'll thematically call

:diamond: Mid-week Madness :diamond:
:spade:So yesterday I woke up played a session which was good and had to do a payment so I went to the bank.
The weather was really nice so I decided to run at the Sea Garden of my city.
I felt really fresh , came back home , took a shower and was ready to crush - really sharp and focused.
...and then I had this gross session where I was card dead and getting destroyed at the tables.
I got really tilted and spewed 2-3 stacks with questionable plays.
These are the two sessions
 Today I started to play like 30 minutes after I woke up.
I started well , then I was down , then I was up , then I was down... untill the moment my graph started to sing me something...
At first it was really quite , I could barely hear it , but as I did focus and sharpen it became louder and louder... it was this one

Spoiler

This is the graph from todays "session" ... and yes exactly 11 hours and 7763 hands , NO BREAK NO NUTTIN' GO HARD OR GO BROKE :fuckyeah:

Overall "progress" on NL5 is pretty bad , but i'm happy I made it out alive after such a downswing and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna kill NL5 , 'cuz imma....................

If read it all , there you go THIS is for you:f_drink:

hey, nice blog :)
I saw you just started out 2 days agot, since i started mine today I had to say Hello :)

I hope you will reach your goals fast and have a nice trip to vegas in the summer.
I was there 2015 and I cant wait to get back there (even tho it will take a few years) :)

what an awesome city. sadly it was before taking poker seriously so i just played one evening NL200 and lost 1,5 stacks (Set vs FD on turn allin, River flush <3)

already planned your trip?
I can suggest to visit the valley of fire if you have a car (its close by) and mb book a trip (or drive) to grand canyon.

post pictures of your trip in here! i will check by :)

Really getting sick of all the setups all the time!
15 stacks under EV is a bit too much for me!!!!!

It happens, carry on. the good times when u run 15 Stacks over EV will happen, too :)
get your head around it. when you can obviously see you did nothing wrong and your EV does well there is NOTHING to worry about. there will be tougher times when ur EV goes down with ur winnings and still its only variance :) carry on and keep your head clear!

beacuse I had problems with running terrible, too i decided to write my last blog about it so i am forced to research and think deeper about the topic.
It helped to some degree even tho I'm still running crappy :)
But I am sure that will change today

I'll try my best to hang in there.
Now I lost my confidence and I'm not sure if I am doing the right decisions...
I'll probably record a short video of me playing , so if somebody is interested can check it out and tell me whether I have some obvious leaks or not.

Good luck at the tables!
Crush 'em

Edit : From today on I'll try to implement "stop-loss" If I lose 4 stacks I insta-quit even if its 100 hands in!
If I lose 6 more stacks I'll move back to NL2 to rebuild.
BR is 110$ atm.:f_drink:

when your ev is doing well i wouldnt even bother to think about stuff like that.
Playing without confidence will hurt alot because ppl will not play their normal game.

try to fix your mind and then rip of that money,

one silly question because im to stupid to find it myself: D
how can i get a signature? ~.~

like "I’m so ill they model computer chips after my brain.. :spade:

hey, this is an interesting spot that i would approach completely different.
he can never have the j with the line he took.
he could only have trapped with the flush, but since it went check check on the turn i would use that hand to bluffctach smaller pairs and ak+aq.
if he bet more than pot i would fold pretty much every single time unless i feel that he knows that and abuses me :)

good luck at nl2 and may you arise fast to nl5 again!

i am playing NL4 with 200 buyins <3

It's too late to play poker and think , but as a degenerate gambler I bought 3 tickets for SPIN&KO for 300 Starcoins.
It's a shove fiesta , a fish dream come true:f_biggrin:
got really lucky to win 1 -> proof or didn't happen
and came third in the third one
I think this format is unbeatable , I'm not playing them ever again , just wanted to have some fun. :f_biggrin:
