Decided to check the flop as there is not much we can represent here and C-betting wouldnt have got him to fold anything better, 99-QQ (i dont think we would have 4-bet QQ since he has position and is fairly tight). I do however think C-betting may have been the best decision on the flop as he is still likely to have AQ, AJ, ATs, KQs which will likely to pay to see another street given the dry texture.

On the turn it seems he doesnt have an overpair as he would have bet to protect his hand most likely. I decide to delay bet for protection with the plan to check/fold on the river unimproved.

On the river i get TPTK and its a clear value c-bet.

Overall i think this was +EV, but im unsure if its better to bet the flop here, also what do we do if he bets the flop?

I would just call this pre. If you decide to 3bet, it should be bigger than standard not smaller, because you are OOP.

Postflop is well played.

I would not cbet the flop. I don't think this guy will call pre with AJo. ATs might be a bit loose too. Many of the broadways might float and outplay you on later streets. He also has 99-QQ which is a big part of his range.

I like the postflop play.
We can skip the cover and bet turn when villain xb flop.
River bet is fine.
