888 Poker - 75/150 Ante 15 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 29.13 BB (VPIP: 48.57, PFR: 26.47, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 37)
Hero (CO): 11.4 BB
BTN: 9.79 BB (VPIP: 24.68, PFR: 22.22, 3Bet Preflop: 11.11, Hands: 317)
SB: 9.67 BB (VPIP: 44.23, PFR: 5.77, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 57)

4 players post ante of 0.1 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.9 BB) Hero has T♦ Q♦

Hero raises to 11.3 BB and is all-in, BTN calls 9.69 BB and is all-in, fold, fold

Flop: (21.29 BB, 2 players) K♣ 4♥ A♥

Turn: (21.29 BB, 2 players) 8♥

River: (21.29 BB, 2 players) Q♥

Ok, that seems like a good shove if no adjustments are made in ICMizer, but when I play with villain stats a bit, it is breakeven push at best. Any suggestions of how this hand can be played better?

Spoiler

Button called me with A7o

This is a nasty spot as 2nd in chips, but in most cases I would still fold from early position or you are sure they will call tight enough and based on the fishy stats of 2 of them I’m sure they call to wide.

Cheers,

I think you played it just find.
You would prefer an equal sized stack on BB to have bigger fold equity
but you have limited time for that.
You shove and at worst you prefer a call from your equal-stacked rivals so to guarantee one elimination at least. I believe you have a lot of fold equity and a 50-50 on a call which is fine.
About the stats, how did you played? I find VPIP and calling range % a bit blurry topic..

Both BB, but especially SB, look way to call happy which makes it a fold.
