At the time I knew that if villain push in BU I will need to fold AKo , but since he min raises I decided to flat pre.

What do you think about my line here?

888 Poker - 150/300 Ante 30 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 3 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 14.71 BB (VPIP: 61.58, PFR: 17.42, 3Bet Preflop: 6.98, Hands: 190)
SB: 3.3 BB (VPIP: 10.53, PFR: 7.02, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 57)
Hero (BB): 11.99 BB

3 players post ante of 0.1 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.8 BB) Hero has K♣ A♦

BTN raises to 2 BB, fold, Hero calls 1 BB

Flop: (4.8 BB, 2 players) 2♣ 7♣ A♠
Hero checks, BTN bets 2.4 BB, Hero raises to 9.89 BB and is all-in, BTN calls 7.49 BB

Turn: (24.59 BB, 2 players) 8♠

River: (24.59 BB, 2 players) 7♦

Would keep the pot small. SB has only 3bb, no need to risk the whole stack.

This seems like a nasty spot, but pre-fop you can also set ICM pressure on the ‘big stack’. He needs to risk almost his entire stack with calling and we aren’t on the bubble. Even against a fish you have still some fold equity.

AKo is too strong here to play postflop with only 11bb left and we would love to get it in here. We are already itm and are defo ahead of btn's range, even though there is a shorty involveld, wich would advocate for giving btn a hand that has some effort against the shorty.

Instashove, and its not even close imo.

I would shove preflop no matter what. If he understands ICM you have huge fold equity and if he doesn't you have A and King that would block most of his range that he can call and you dont have to worry.
If you call pre, its ok to shove there I would have done the same.

Villain has to minraise/call more than ~26% {22+,A2+, K7s+, KT+, QTs+, JTs+} to make this a -EV$ shove. Though he might not have the K7s-K9s hands, he maybe has some QTo or JTo that might call. Only troublesome fact here is that villain has very fishy stats, making him not the most reliable player on the table.

I do think we have FE, but I don't think villain will understand ICM dynamics.

Still: easy shove pre imo.
