I would most likely bet the flop already with our flush draw and when he shoves I would make a call. Then you have 2 changes to hit your flush then if you play it like this, now is folding on his shove easy with only the river card to come I think.

Same here, bet flop and call his all-in if he raises. If u decide to go check/check on flop, u should go check - call on turn.

To try to win the hand right away and if he called or shoves we have still a lot of outs to win as well. It’s a nice semi bluff spot I think.

Bet on your flush draw indeed

Preflop it is just good enough of a hand to shove for 9bb against a limp of an average oponent. Checking is also not bad. You said hes limping even the strong part of his range so checking becomes a little better against this oponent, so nh.

Lead the flop. Whatever he does, you have enough equity to go with it, but if he folds you deny him alot of equity. The shallower the stacks become the more important it becomes to steal those 2bb pots.
As played, IDK what to do OTT. We can check-call. We can also lead, but if we lead we are really close to being commited with our gutshot+FD. We need ~38% and we have about 30%. The hand just becomes a mess and hard to play, so next time bet your flushdraws OTF

You played it just fine on Turn where you hit a 12-out draw. However his shoving doesn't give you nearly the odds you want and i would fold easy-peasy as you did.
Regardless, while i wouldn't do it, semi-bluffing on Flop and calling a shove just there seems quite good (@SDK1987).
You have a 50-50 coinflip on the Flop with an effective stack of 9bb on a limped pot, not bad.
You still have a healthy stack for a better situation
