Villain appears to be a solid reg.
Turn card completes some straights, or makes a FD. Still I can make the nuts, so I call.
River he cbets quite big, I can only beat a bluff, or maybe JJ, TT, so what do I do here?

How many outs to the nuts you have on turn?

I agree, if you only count the Qs its only two, but there is also some air, weaker PP in his range......

Why donk the air and weaker pairs?

good point. apparently I try to convince myself, that I wanted to call.....would not let the nice QQ go. One of my biggest leaks i guess

If you only beat 12 combos, I would not take my chances by calling OTR. Donking is usually very strong or the hand will turn out very strong. I think we can safely fold our hand.

That is apparently my problem, I am sometimes incapable of folding :(
thanks

You should fight with this habit of yours.
Make a distinction that your hand may be strong preflop and not so strong postflop.

Yes, you're right.
I am trying to find the right strategy to counteract this habit. Currently I am making the conscious effort to realize that I am in this situation, by marking the hand before I make the decision and later reviewing it.

Because he might be bluffing. Simple as that. Hand analyses based on the "fact" that villain is never bluffing are correct if and only if villain is never bluffing. It is up to you to judge whether poker players ever bluff and, if so, how often.

Well, at the micros, not often :f_biggrin: Have you experienced many bluffs there?

Mostly by myself:D Sometimes other players bluff too. I am not even mildly shocked when they do.

Very good question.
And there are two answers to that:
1) the statistically correct answer, which is probably: "not enough that it mattered"
2) based on our perceived reality, which is biased by our selective memory

Yes, most probably you are right. The second one goes pretty deep :f_biggrin: but I guess you are right. We do only remember what we want to remember in some way (or at least what our brain thinks it's important).

OTT I will min raise his donk.
If he push I definitely fold, but he might call with TP TT JJ FD and you stop his aggresion to check behind OTR.
