Except for bet-sizing postflop, you played it well. Maybe the bet-sizing is fine too (dry board), but it is smallish. An alternative is to get it in on turn.

The rationale is that it is hard to put villain on Tx or 7x. If he actually had AA, well kudos to him.

By the way: If you ever change from good poker to bad poker because you lose one pot, you go from winning poker to losing poker. No need really to post bad beats if you are certain you played it well.

I guess you are second-guessing your sizing. Don't. Given what he had, you want him to call, not fold.

What is the reason behind flop x/r?

You aren't asking me, but my reply would be that it is fine as a variation. He typically has max 3 outs if behind, and if an A turns, there was perhaps little to do about it anyway (except to bet big, which is a mistake):).

That’s a tricky play on the flop, but against an unknown I would always go for 3 streets of value or you have more information about our villain here.

You can easily get it in on turn + river anyway.

I did a check raise on the flop because i was going to slowplay my hand against like bets of ~30-40% pot size in my opinion 25% was too small and if he had nothing he wouldnt be betting again for bluff on the turn or maybe he would but like another 2 dollars max? so I decided to raise the bet to atleast a bit more than 50% of the pot then with the initiative I played like a always do betting ~30-40%. Im posting this hand regarding bet sizes, from what Ive learned my bet sizing is ok, but this isnt the first time Iget a surprise like this, so maybe Im wrong I dont know, atleast I'll keep doing the same until someone says Im wrong.

Bet sizing is a science. Read No Limit Hold'em - Theory and Practice. The book is dated, but very good on this topic (mathematics doesn't follow trends, it just is).

As for your "... like a always do betting ~30-40%..."; 30-40% is fine on this board, but horrible in other situations with other boards.

I know, Im talking about this board in particular

I do not like the xr on flop either. You will make him fold the hands that you beat most of the time.
