Hey guys, I'm playing in this brazilian site called brasil poker league where at current stake that I'm playing there is a lot of fish. This player in specific in very few samples seemed like a fish (the site unfornately don't allows HUD).

I will describe the hand here because don't have HUD and don't have boom or something like that.

Blinds are 0.5/1

UTG opens to 4. Hero in the BTN with AsKh calls. blinds folds.

Flop: 3sQsTs

UTG bets 4 and hero calls.

Turn: Jh

UTG checks. Hero bets 10.88. UTG calls.

River:3c

UTG checks, Hero bets 26, UTG miniraises to 52 and leaves around 30 behind.

So, due to the price I made the call but I don't see fishes doing this mini raise on the river very often as a bluff. What about a explotative fold at this spot? The river paired the board and he could also do this with an K high flush.

Vs. fish better 3bet preflop, he would call or even stack off with a bunch of bad hands. bet more ott. As played otr I'm calling vs. minraise, unless you have other population reeds.

I would bet the Turn bigger (like 3/4 or 4/5) because we most likelly have the best hand and he could call with alot of hands. Then OTR I think we can bet smaller (like 1/3) to charge some pairs or two-pairs he could have. If he raises, I think we can fold. As played, given the price, I think we can call the raise. We need to win in 18% of cases to make the call profitable.

It’s good to know if we play full ring or shorthanded as well, but in most cases I would 3bet for value. As played he could have some better hands like a full house, but that’s the only thing. I expect most of those hands would bet the turn for value as well and is calling on his min raise fine I think.

Cheers,

If we are to fold vs the raise, then we should not bet at all.
