Practically lost in this hand.
Villain just got moved to our table 10 hands ago, so no real info up untill the hand. He only has his original $5 bounty. Table has been fairly soft/straight forward.
> Pre is std i guess, not sure about sizing this deep. Always try to aim for 2,5-3,5x, off course depending on villains tendencies and changing if needed. When villain calls I think he has something like 88+, ATs, AJo, QJs+,KQo.
> Flop is fairly dry and with two overs, backdoor straight I think cbet will pick up the pot a lot and when called gives enough options to continue. Don't think villain will react different to any other sizing and no need to protect anything imo. When villain calls, I think most of his airs are gone, but his range still consist of some monster (sets and overpairs, though I think JJ might have raised this), draws and weaker holdings like AT.
> Turn gives us the TPTK, but I'm not sure how to proceed and get confused. It's between checking or betting (and with betting the extra choices fold, call, shove). With the extra straight and flush draws on the table I actually don't want to give a free card, so I didn't choose for the check.
But when betting: how much and how to extract value? If I bet here, my hand is pretty much face up and let's villain play pretty perfect against my hand.... Pot is now 19108. I decided to bet 1/2 pot and villain 3bets. This looks so incredibly strong. Don't think he will do this with JJ-KK, maybe he could do this with his draws, but since he is committing himself I think I should fold now?

I would consider X/Call line for 2 streets on flop as such board hits opp range + draws way better than yours.
As played again its an option to X turn and give opp a chance to make mistakes + avoid such tough spots which you have been put into exactly as in this situation.
He has all sets here, some 2pair combinations like AT A9s some flush draws with str/draws (QJh, KJh) where by raising he can push us of an Ace and has decent equity still.

This isn’t the easiest hand history to read on the forum. That’s why I used weaktight to converted the hand for me in the spoiler:

BTN Player1 (19,037) 27bb
SB Player2 (31,474) 45bb
BB Hero (86,952) 124bb

Blinds: 350/700 Ante 90

Pre-Flop: (1,860, 9 players) Hero is BB K♠: A♣:
3 folds, Player7 raises to 1,519, 4 folds, Hero raises to 4,987, Player7 calls 3,468
Flop: 9♥: T♣: 5♠: (11,134, 2 players)

Hero bets 3,987, Player7 calls 3,987

Turn: A♥: (19,108, 2)
Hero bets 9,554, Player7 raises to 24,458
Final Pot: 53,120

Pre-flop is indeed a standard 3bet against most likely a LAG kind of player. Other stats are stull useless, because we have only 16 hands on him.

The flop Bet isn’t too bad if you want to represent an over pair. Otherwise you playing your hand face up the rest of the hand.

The turn is tricky, but I would still bet for value and now he’s raising I would give him credit for better hand. I don’t think he would raise this as bluff and he can easy have a set or 2 pair here. A random A isn’t likely I think, because he would fold this on the flop.

Cheers,

Representing overpairs are way too small range for us to cbet i believe!?

JJ+ and AK is a decent 3bet range I think. I don’t think I would 3bet more hands out of position.
