partypoker - 15/30 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

UTG: 98.8 BB (VPIP: 21.51, PFR: 19.61, 3Bet Preflop: 5.00, Hands: 187)
CO: 50.1 BB (VPIP: 24.34, PFR: 22.65, 3Bet Preflop: 10.96, Hands: 313)
Hero (BTN): 54.17 BB
SB: 43.17 BB (VPIP: 23.77, PFR: 21.07, 3Bet Preflop: 12.50, Hands: 359)
BB: 53.77 BB (VPIP: 50.00, PFR: 19.23, 3Bet Preflop: 10.00, Hands: 26)

5 players post ante of 0.13 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.17 BB) Hero has K♦ J♣

fold, CO raises to 2 BB, Hero raises to 5 BB, fold, BB calls 4 BB, fold

Flop: (13.17 BB, 2 players) A♣ K♥ A♥
BB checks, Hero bets 5.77 BB, BB calls 5.77 BB

Turn: (24.7 BB, 2 players) 7♣
BB checks, Hero bets 10.87 BB, BB calls 10.87 BB

River: (46.43 BB, 2 players) 5♥
BB bets 32 BB and is all-in, fold,

The only correction I would made will be to raise bigger pre-flop.

How about post-flop against that type of opponent?

What are your thoughts about the 3bet pre?
Definately bigger 3bet pre.

What is your plan on this flop?
Postflop I would check back a lot, mostly because we have decent showdown value and villain seems to be on the fishy side. A cbet on the turn does make a lot more sense imo. After river bet is a good fold imo.

The idea of 3bet IP is that I want to isolate myself versus weak opponent, if he opens 3-4x I would fold the hand, but against min-raise I don't like the idea of calling 60 chips and giving sb/bb to join the action.

Hand I would consider flatting min raise is pocket pairs 22-77 for set value , having said that KJo is the bottom of my 3bet range vs raise size vs opponent

Based on the stats of the CO I don’t think he’s a weak opponent at all. In position is a 3bet sizing like this not even that bad, but then I would defiantly Cbet at least half pot for thin value and protection against the fishy BB. Also, checking for pot control on flop and turn seems fine, but the river is an easy fold for sure.

Cheers,

24/23/11 doesn't seem like a weaker opponent yet, so I don't understand you reasoning about the 3bet.

On the flop: what is your plan?
Why are you betting? Why aren't you checking? What is your plan on further streets when called?
