Yeah, if you don't think he's also on a flush draw just rep it yourself when the river comes down. The thing is that you would have had to make a pretty big bet on the river to get him to fold, and you didn't actually have the diamonds so in the end, I think this was well played.

I like potting flop as you did, though. Players over call the flop tremendously @ 2NL.

I think you played this hand fine as well. I don’t think bluffing on the river will work and your 2 pair has some showdown value as well.

Fine play, don't bluff river you have showdown value, vilians like this don't fold even 8♦: imo.

There is no need to bet OTR as we have very strong hand ourselves and we don´t really know if villain has diamonds. So it´s ok c/f, ppl stil don´t bluff there often enough. I just don´t see reason to bet OTT so strong (unless he is a fish of course)?
