I think your bet sizing definitely needs to be smaller here. It is a 3 bet pot and you have a 2 street value hand.
I think half pot on the flop would be fine, and similar if not a little less on the turn. I don't think it's bad to check the turn, but I think putting out a bet is better, as doing so we often don't have to face a 2/3 river lead, not knowing where we are in the hand.

With the fish in on the flop I wouldn’t mind making a bet like this for value. On the turn the fish is gone end then you can bet indeed a lot smaller for thin value and protection. 24bb is more than enough I think against a regular.

i dont think betting huge is still optimal as if we are betting this big it defines our range for the reg who could nit fold AQ

If we skip the turn and he bets big (or just resonable) OTR what are we gonna do on a 9(3), 8(3), J(3), Q(4), T(4), 7(4) or a spade ? I would say that checking the flop is more of an option vs two players. But b/bf is ok on 10NL.

^ mostly a fold, he's not floating us OOP 3w /w bluffs, so he either has a weak made hand that will probably check for SD value or a strong hand that beats us.

Even if he Valuebets AQ 100% OTR with that line it's still a fold. (eventhough that bet would be superthin for him).
