How did I play this?
River in particular. Ace on the Turn - could I have played differently? As played when he re-raises me on the turn I have to go in for the rest, but was it right up until then?

Ace is a perfect to go check on, you don't believe him to have an ace but gladly would call any bet, thus making his possible second/third pair only bluff worthy

Turn could be check call. But that river play is bad. There are lots of better hands possible and you bet. And when you get raised you call. Even though it is only 11 bb more, you will never win that.

Thanks for your replies again guys - you are giving me lots to think about. I obviously have a long way to go in assessing the board at different streets.

So, assume I check/call the Turn with that Ace showing up.

What would be the best play on the River? Check/call again - depending on bet size?
