So I plugged this into Poker Snowie and I can pin point on place I was wrong based on poker snowies suggestion (and it was logical), but I wanted to get your opinions on a couple of spots in this hand.

.02/.04 NL On Global Poker

Starting Balance - 5 Players
HERO (SB) - 97 BB
BB - 78.75 BB
MP - 155.75 BB
CO - 118.5 BB
BU - 81 BB

HERO Dealt
J♠: J♦:

MP - Fold
CO - Call 1 BB
BU - Fold
SB - HERO - Raise to 3.5 BB
BB - Fold
MP - Call 3 BB

TOTAL POT - 9 BB

FLOP
K♣: T♦: 2♣:

SB - HERO - Check
MP - Check

TURN
K♣: T♦: 2♣: T♣:
SB - HERO - Check
MP - Check

RIVER
K♣: T♦: 2♣: T♣: A♥:
SB - HERO Bets 4.5 BB
MP Raises 22.5 BB
HERO - FOLD

So 1st - Should I have C Bet on the flop, especially since I was the pre-flop aggressor. Maybe at that point the villain had any suited Ace, maybe AQ or AJ. I dont think he had AK or AT because then I think he would have bet my check having a pair with a top kicker. I have noticed at this stakes, a 2/3rd pot will get guys to fold on the flop if they dont have a strong hand.

2nd - and this is obvious especially after plugging this into PS - Why did I open betting after the flop lol. As I reviewed this hand I realized how stupid this was because at this point, very slim chances he is folding, especially if he has an Ace. At the time my mindset was a bluff making him think I had an Ace, but when I look back, my betting doesnt represent an Ace. Really I think if I CBet it changes the entire perception of my hand.

So tell me what you guys think about this one. Did I answer my own question lol.

PS - Poker Snowie did suggestion when I reviewed this hand to check on the flop

Thanks!

My advice is to completely forget about Snowie in general.

You shouldn't be scared of one over, you can bet and still get called by so many worse hands. By the time you get to river you have no idea where you're at.

Why did you bet river, what was you repping? Which better hands do you think would fold here?

Hmm yea I guess instead of QJ nothing really, because if I had AA, I never would be checking.

You isolated a fish pre so I guess betting the flop is just fine. Normally if you are a preflop aggressor and are OOP it is ok to check this kind of hands, so I can somewhat agree with Snowie.
When he checks behind OTF I think you could just stab OTT, he probably will fold a lot.
