Hi guys,

would like to have your thoughts in this hand here:

SB: 206.5 BB (VPIP: 65.22, PFR: 17.39, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 26)
Hero (BB): 100 BB
UTG: 151 BB (VPIP: 45.24, PFR: 35.71, 3Bet Preflop: 23.08, Hands: 43)
MP: 175 BB (VPIP: 33.33, PFR: 16.67, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 49)
CO: 173.5 BB (VPIP: 22.00, PFR: 10.00, 3Bet Preflop: 4.55, Hands: 51)
BTN: 100 BB (VPIP: 13.64, PFR: 13.64, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 25)

While haveing just less hands here as well it seems like SB and UTG are calling a wider range as a reg.
I play sandwich vs them with TT.

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB, 6 players post ante of 0.5 BB

So first of all sometimes their is gametype "ante" and sometimes it is not in pokerstars. So in mode "ante" stars get a small blind.
How this works in tables without the gametype "ante" ? And do you prefer a specific type?

Pre Flop: (pot: 4.5 BB) Hero has T♥ T♣

UTG raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, SB calls 2.5 BB, Hero calls 2 BB

Range UTG (17 %): AA-22,AKo-ATo,KQo-KJo,QJo,AKs-ATs,KQs-KTs,QJs-QTs,JTs-J9s,T9s,98s,87s,76s,65s,54s -> 27 %
Range SB (15%): QQ-22,AQo-ATo,KQo-KJo,QJo,AQs-ATs,A5s-A2s,KQs-KTs,QJs-QTs,JTs,T9s,98s,87s,76s,65s -> 23 %
Me (JJ): 48 %
So with this range I can call this for value i think easily.

Would you raise here? I mean if I am ahead and they may call more than a Std.-Reg I make their call more unprofitable.

Flop: (12 BB, 3 players) 5♥ J♠ K♥
SB bets 8 BB, fold, UTG calls 8 BB

SB bets -> I give him the following range:
QQ-JJ,55,AQo-ATo,KQo-KJo,QJo,AQs-ATs,KQs-KTs,QJs-QTs,JTs,65s,Ah5h,Ah4h,Ah3h,Ah2h,Th9h,9h8h,8h7h,7h6h

I fold here because I was scared about both overcards in the multway pos - seeing me behind but if he has this range I should call next time because I am a way ahead here.

How you go on this flop?

I would just call pre too.
OTF there is two overcards and you are multiway so it is more likely someone has J or K. That board should hit UTG opening range quite well and now recreational looking SB donks. You can fold.

  • You need to work on your range assignments.
  • Even if that range were correct, it doesn't help you. You still lose to UTG, and are in the worst position (in a squeeze).

Quick fold.

I would call/fold and only perhaps call a min raise, there are too many J's and K's in the ranges of the opposition. Most likely unless you hit a set you are probably beaten

Assuming he goes on with: Nuts, Middlepair+, Flushdraw and OESD + Combos
So he will hit something to play on in 39,9 % which is pretty high. If I add the Equity of the donger I am @ around 63 %.
So ok -> just folding.

Same thought -> just folding.
