The above question has been really itching me for some months now. Sometimes I play a one hour session and I'm very tired, then I play 3-hours-sessions and I'm not tired at all, so it's quite different. Because I'm not a pro I'm sometimes very tired in the evenings and then rather let it go than forcing me to play a certain pensum. So I don't really have a plan, maybe that's the problem ...

So what about you? Do have a strict plan (even if you are an amateur) you are sticking with or do you play just for fun when you have time and let it go when your girlfriend rings?

I would just play when I’m not tired at all. Otherwise you can’t play your best game and if you are feeling tired I would just quit after 1 hour or how long you are playing on that moment.
I think a thread like the https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=181760 could help you as well.

Yeah, right, problem is that this state of "totally fresh and not tired at all" doesn't happen too often in my life, so I tend to play in "not totally fresh, but also not totally tired" - situations as a compromise. If I didn't do it this way, I would hardly have any opportunity to play at all ...

I play until either I tilt or if I start to lose concentration and think about food xD
