Hero raises to $0.06, 2 folds, BB raises to $0.24, Hero calls $0.18
Looking back at this - not really sure why I called - player was pretty tight (18/14) and hadn't 3-bet over about 40 hands. I am guessing he is at worst QQ+ AK. DOes a 4x 3-bet actually put him stronger? This should have been an easy fold pre-flop and I am not sure why I didn't as I normally would.
Flop: ($0.49) 5♠: 5♦: K♥: (2 players)
BB bets $0.32, Hero calls $0.32
As played I only beat QQ at the moment so I guess I should have folded here too?
Turn: ($1.13) 5♥: (2 players)
BB bets $0.58, Hero calls $0.58
When the board triples and I have a full house does anything change? I beat now QQ and split with AK - still dominated by KK and AA though - Equilab does show my situation improves here (to 38%) but I'm guessing not really enough.
River: ($2.29) 2♣: (2 players)
BB bets $0.99 and is all-in, Hero calls $0.99
I just had a feeling that he had AK and we would split the pot so I called.
All in all I think I got myself into unnecessary trouble pre-flop and then couldn't let go when I probably should have. If his range was only KK+ then I am way behind at all times.
