Hello Guys,
Not sure I played this hand optimal. The CO is an unknown and BU is a 21/14 player (over 150 hands)
I couldnt make out any worse hands that would call a turn bet here.
Basically all draws got there now, sets have me beat also (altough they probably would have raised the flop). QQ+ would have raised pre...

Only plausible hands that might play this way (and that I still beat) would be broadways with a club AJ, KJ, QJ.
But since BU made a fairly big bet in a 3way pot on a board that completed I felt like just folding.

Maybe I'm a bit biased because of the outcome of this hand but still... Any opinions?

I think you are right. Js is really bad card for you. Bet turn is not good. You can beat just TT/99, maybe 98s (and these hands they probably fold) but you stand against complete draws, slowplayed 2P or sets.
After bet AND CALL (!!), I am not sure you can beat anything. In game, I have tough spot too. But after I looked at it closer, I agree with fold for sure.

Well played. Agree 100% with your reasoning. You also don't block any draws with your hand. holding the A :spade: would make a slight difference. But nevertheless we don't have a valuebet on the turn and as soon one of the two players puts money into the pot I am folding here all day.

If sometimes you fold the better hand, that's completely fine. But most of the times you are absolutely beat in this spot. Remember, it's all about equity that you have on AVERAGE on an endless amound of occasions, not just a single hand.

Peace!
