Hi everyone,

I'm recreational poker player from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have full time job and also with private obligations haven't got a time to play poker as much as I would like, mostly on the weekends and sometimes in the evenings on work days. I'm member of PokerStrategy from January 2015 but this is my first post on forum. I regularly read strategy articles and other content on this site and also like to read, from time to time, some good books about poker and especially about mental game, because I believe the key to be successful in anything, so in poker, is correct attitude or mental state. The rest will eventually follow. I know that my biggest leak is in mental discipline when it comes to correct bankroll management. But I'm working on that. For a couple of years :) I play mostly NL holdem on PokerStars (mtts and sngs). Regarding cash games, I play it rarely online, only for the variety, I'm more fan of them to play live which I do sometimes with friends. I play micro to mid limits (1 – 15$) depending on my bankroll.

I would like to ask one question, I know it’s not for introduction section, but to be honest, that it’s the reason why I’m writing all this in the first place, because I’m kind of loner when it comes to internet forums and this my very first post in my life on this or any other forum. Because for some time I wanted to introduce myself and take part in forum discussion on this site, I thought that this was good opportunity :)

Couple days ago, exactly on September 26, I registered on WilliamHill and get signup bonus from PokerStrategy (5x1€ twister ticket and 45€ to clear up). From 5 twister tickets I managed to made 11€ from which I made about 150€ finishing 2th in 2€ buy in (r/a) mtt (1.000€ winning fond). I cleared 2,5€ from the bonus of 45€ so far. Today, when I was checking my mail, I found a mail from PokerStrategy in which they say that the bonus money will be revoked after a set period of time if I don't use it, and they recommended me to play some real money games. I have played about 10-15 real money mtts since registration on WH, but when I check my PokerStrategy points there is zero. I have entered my William Hill user name in PokerStrategy client when I first registered on WH. It look like that my account is not tracked. If anybody knows what would be solution to this I would be very thankful.

I'm using this opportunity to say thanks to PokerStrategy community for doing great job for all poker players when it comes to learning and adapting in this ever evolving beautiful game.

P.S. My English is not so good, but I think you will understand ;)

Cheers and best regards,:f_drink:

It can take a few days for new accounts to show points. I would recommend sending our support team a ticket about the issue.

If you used a deposit bonus you will need to clear it in the set amount of time. The quickest way to achieve this is by playing cash games or mid stake MTT. As you are new to online cash I would recommend that you refresh yourself with the basics for small stake cash.

Thank you for welcoming me and answering my question. I know that here is very friendly community and that is that I most like about this site. I added myself on member map and I would take your advice to study and play some cash games. Regarding my new bankroll on WH, I'm very glad I made it from bonus money, but I know how many time I have busted, so I'm not very enthusiastic and need to be very cautious, in other words, less drink while playing :)
Good luck to you also and best regards,
