Yeah. In general I would fold those trashy pairs, but some people don't fold anything while IP. It's also opponent dependable, the more you can win pots without showdown, the more trashier hands you can play. But as in 3bet pots the SPR is usually 3,5-4 there isn't a lot of room to make moves unless the opponent is really bad.

Your QQ is rainbow trash. If it was QQJTds it would be a snap call. As you can see, there are different types of QQxx hands.

If we open 50% from the BTN and are happy to fold all paired rainbow hands, we would be folding just 3% of our range. So if you want some rule of thumbs, fold paired or uncoordinated hands that are rainbow to 3bets.
