Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players
SB: $2.62 (131 bb)
BB: $2.73 (136.5 bb)
MP: $1.49 (74.5 bb)
Hero (CO): $2.78 (139 bb)
BTN: $1 (50 bb)
Preflop: Hero is CO with Q♠: A♠:
MP folds, Hero raises to $0.05, 2 folds, BB raises to $0.18, Hero calls $0.13
Standard raise which is then 3-bet and I decide to call in position. (At the time didn't have a read on Vil, but since he seems pretty nitty).
Flop: ($0.37) 6♣: T♠: 7♥: (2 players)
BB bets $0.24, Hero calls $0.24
The flop doesn't really hit his range and I have 2 overcards and a backdoor flush so decide to call his c-bet.
Turn: ($0.85) 6♠: (2 players)
BB bets $0.56, Hero calls $0.56
When the Turn gives me the nutflush draw I presume I am okay to carry on calling or should I fear that the board pairs? (Think only really TTs are in his range, 77 seems a little loose).
River: ($1.97) 4♦: (2 players)
BB bets $0.95, Hero folds
When my draw busts on the River I don't think I cam getting him to fold anything better and I am pretty sure I don't have the best hand, so I have to fold.
I lost a fair amount of money on this hand - did I play it wrong anywhere, or was that the gamble and sometimes I will be paid off when my flush comes in?
