Hey guys,
I would like to read your opinion on that bubble situation I encountered yesterday. So, we have the following situation: We are at the bubble of a 5€ MTT. Hero didn´t pay buy-in but used a ticket won in a freeroll satty. So, the tourney was completely for free for Hero. 37 players left (36 payed), Heros current position is 24th. At another table there is an ultra-short-stack with 1,5 BBs left.

On Heros table there are 2 (very) loose-passive big stacks. Fold equity would be zero, also due to Heros stack (pot-odds).

You get most likely only around €10 with cashing and I would defiantly shove TT on the bubble.
Only if this was a satellite I would fold this.

Cheers,

TT seem too strong to fold 6bb even in exact bubble.

You can't fold this hand! Shove all the times.

The large stacks shouldn't call off light. They want to keep the bubble going instead of bursting it. Hence, shove is likely the best line. If you really think they call ATC, it's likely to be >0$EV shove. That said, folding isn't completely ridiculous at all, if there's a 1bb stack and other(s) with less than you.

Actually my thought process was:

*I´m 24th now and I didn´t pay buy-in, so my equity in € is higher than normal because the tourney is for free. Instead of something like 4 € my equity is something like 9 €

* According to stats, especially BB makes light calls and my equity against her range could be about 60-70 %

* Is this equity enough with beeing "save ITM" and one ultra shortie at the other table as well as 3 other super-shorties?

* I risk about 9 € in equity with ultra-shortie and super-shorties busting soon and ending the bubble

Those were my thoughts.
