This is one of those hands that seemed logical at the time, but makes me cringe the more I look at it.
Zoom hand, villain complete unknown other than he obviously has a short stack.
Pre - Seems like a standard steal.
Flop - Again seems pretty standard.
Turn - What I was thinking at the time was that there are a lot of draws out now (diamond and heart draws, gut shots, overs) and if any of these cards come on the river I'd be lost. I considered raising to get him to either fold his share of equity or make him overpay on his draw hands (those above), and with villain only having $8.40 behind after his raise the only viable raising option is to put him all in. The other option I guess is to call turn and call any blank river, but there doesn't seem like there's any river I like the look of?
