Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) BluffinBilbo has 8♠ T♣ 9♥ 8♣

BluffinBilbo raises to 3.5 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, ninobel88 raises to 11 BB, BluffinBilbo calls 7.5 BB

Flop: (22.5 BB, 2 players) K♥ 7♦ K♠
ninobel88 bets 10.5 BB, BluffinBilbo raises to 42 BB

Before this happened villain had never 3-bet preflop over ~50 hands, so I pretty much put him on aces.

What do you think about raising the flop as a bluff? I would not consider doing this if we were just 100 BB deep, but since we are over 200bbs, and he seems reasonably tight, he should be able to fold to a raise on the flop?

Would you try this?

Pre-flop you only calling for set value and that’s already thin, because you could end up set over set sometimes. The flop bluff seems interesting and on a dry board. it’s tough for you to represent a K or FH this way I think. Those hands would most likely just call here. I would just give up.

Pre call IP. I cant think any hands what I will open UTG and then fold against 3b IP deep.

I dont agree Kx just wanting to call here, the game is omaha not NLHE. You'll want to play big pots with big hands.

Your UTG range has big portion of high cards and K's, so I dont hate the raise if you think villain isn't very sticky. I dont think this spot is super good for this play though, his 3b range contains also high cards (and you block just the mid high rundowns) and should be strong vs UTG deep.

Your sizing is very big, disgouraging calling with non Kx but also making it quite expensive bluff for you. But I guess the plan is one and done.
