Stacks:
UTG ($100BB) 100bb
CO ($100BB) 100bb
BTN ($55.8BB) 56bb
SB Hero ($127BB) 127bb
BB ($147.8BB) 148bb
Pre-Flop: (1.4BB, 5 players) Hero is SB K♦: Q♥:

UTG raises to 3BB, 2 folds, Hero calls 2.6BB, BB calls 2BB

I could 3bet here but I would isolate myself against a strong range so I prefer calling.

Flop: T♣: K♠: 2♦: ($9BB, 3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG bets 6.8BB, Hero calls 6.8BB, BB folds

Check/call here is standard I think as I have top pair.

Turn: 9♣: ($22.6BB, 2)
Hero checks, UTG bets 17.6BB, Hero ?

So he cbets again. According to begginers course ranges, he shouldnt be opening weaker K from UTG but I guess players at nl5 dont play that tight at all so he might be opening KT plus? But his sizing is quite strong. Can I call here or should I give it up?

Call turn fold river
He can easily barrel also backdoor clubs and AQ AJ
I've actually taught the nl beginners course and the idea is to be much tighter than your opponents as they are too loose at micros in general , and to make the strategy as simple for you as possible while still being able to win.

You shouldn't really put people at micros on the same ranges :)

I agree with LemOn.

And about preflop, this would be a standard fold for me. We are OOP which sucks and the hand being off-suit decreases its playability also. And it can be easily dominated.

I agree with both of the coaches. You can fold this preflop, but as played, you can call turn, and fold the river, unless it's a blank.

The beginner strat clearly tells you that
