I have moved your hand to our hand discussion forum, because it’s fits better there.

I expect there are 7/8/9 players left or so and then it’s good to know how the chip dynamic is on the other table as well, but most of the time I would still shove pre-flop. It’s likely you are now 5th/6th in the chip counts and the raiser should fold anything if you shove. He would risk almost his entire stack if he called here.

Cheers,

Thanks for info, I will take a screenshot of players left with stacks next time I post if I can, have some other MTTs on the go.

3bet shove makes sense with my hand & stack, especially as Villain is VPIP: 23, PFR: 18, 3B: 13, AF: 7.7, Hands: 188.

Think 3 bet shove is best.
As played when check called were you planing on calling it right the way down?
Since you never bet the only outcome was you folding or calling down.
If check calling you should have called river.

Think a bit of aggression would have served you better
Eg on turn you check called 3600.
Instead if you had bet 3600 you could have either
A) made him fold
B) been called (and reached river for same price you paid)
C) been raised and could have folded lime river bet in your hand.

As you can see the way you played you lost the option of making him fold.

A bet on flop and turn would have cost you the same chips you paid, bit would have given you the chance of making him fold.

Your check on river then may have seamed like a trap and led to showdown you may have won.
