First of all this is the first hand I have posted in a very long time! Yeah!
Oke about the hand.
We are deepstacked (188 bb) So I don't really want to go all-in preflop with AKo, so flatting his 3-bet to keep all his mediocre hands in instead of 4-betting and playing a huge pot oop with only the top hands in his range or having to fold against a 5-bet all-in from villain.
On the flop I check to the initial aggressor to let him c-bet. I don't know if a Check/Raise is better here or straight out donking?
On the Turn I also check to the initial aggressor to let him continue but with the intention to raise if he continues.
River completes the four card flush which really sucks for me because I don't have the diamond. so checking to get to showdown cheap. however villain wakes up again and bets, which for me is almost everytime the flush. could we ever call here without a diamond?
So 2 questions for me.
1 - is the flop and turn played too passively?
2- can we ever call the river without a diamond?
