Pre flop I don't 3 bet because I don't want to give the btn opportunity to 4 bet. And I feel ok calling BB squeeze.
OTF I have top pair and a wrap, I would like to check/call and decide on the turn. BTN shoves, I have to call, but I kind of don't want to put all the money against BB, so I think my best option is to call here. BTN looks like a set or top 2, I guess. BB shoves on top, again I call... and get freerolled pretty bad :f_ugly::f_ugly: and I end up sucking up the side pot which is nice :transpire:.
Any advice on this hand? would you have played sone street differently?
cheers

Why dont you want to put all the money in against BB and rather call 90bb? It's super awkward spot imo to call here, he has the oppurtunity to shove and you aint folding anymore when there is so much money in the pot. What are you gonna do ott OOP if he calls? If blank comes, if hearts come, if non-nut straight comes? I dont see much advantage in calling this spot.

When BTN raises, you have to either fold or get it in.

Nasty spot, as BB should have there hand like AA+fd, set or AAQT. He is cbetting into two people on a board that just hits so well to both of your ranges.

I checked the spot with PokerJuice 3way-tool and it looks like that even if their ranges are as wide as they can be, your EV is -20bb with shove. So as strange as it might seem, that is a fold there (assuming BB never bet-folds).

If BB can bet-fold there (it's PLO5!) it changes the situation. If he bets his whole range but stacks off when he connects with the board, he is bet-folding 55% of times. If he cbets 100% of his hands, shove there has EV +7bb.

As the EV in the best case scenario is breakevenish with the rake, and the probable scenario is -EV, I would fold there.
P.S. if you were 100bb deep that would be a stack-off. :)
