Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 174.12 BB (VPIP: 24.43, PFR: 20.36, 3Bet Preflop: 12.50, Hands: 233)
Hero (SB): 127.44 BB
BB: 259.52 BB (VPIP: 20.64, PFR: 17.23, 3Bet Preflop: 7.43, Hands: 548)
UTG: 262.08 BB (VPIP: 23.87, PFR: 18.76, 3Bet Preflop: 10.80, Hands: 1,164)
MP: 100 BB (VPIP: 22.45, PFR: 20.41, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 51)
CO: 241.12 BB (VPIP: 23.02, PFR: 17.87, 3Bet Preflop: 11.30, Hands: 296)

Hero posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has 7♣ A♦

fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (6 BB, 2 players) 9♣ J♦ 5♦
Hero bets 3.12 BB, BB calls 3.12 BB

Turn: (12.24 BB, 2 players) 7♦
Hero checks, BB bets 8 BB, Hero raises to 24 BB

The hand is certainly good enough to cbet or check/call on turn but the CR may fold out pair that beats my hand like 9x?

I'm not sure about flop cbet, but probably it should be fine with the backdoor nut flushdraw and an overcard. I think, when we do cbet, we should make it a bit bigger on this board. On this turn we are definitely not giving up, but I'm not sure about check/raising. It looks a bit too strong as a bluff check/raise to me. The hand also looks too weak for value check/raising and too weak for cbet/calling. Maybe we can check/call then?

I don't know.. All options look reasonable (cbet, check/call, check/raise), but I would probably go with check/calling. I think sometimes we could even check/call or check/raise the flop.

I think cbetting again is best as we picked up equity

I also wouldn't cbet the flop. I think this could make a reasonable check raise OTF. As played OTT I would cbet again.
