I've been burning money lately getting to showdown with second best hands. I wanted to start making better folds and adding some discipline to my game. I think this is a perfect hand to post and try get some feedback on. Am I being a complete nit here? Usually I'd be stacking off with this type of hand but today I wanted to play a bit differently.
BB donks, theres a call and then MP (pre flop raiser) 3bets.
Now this is where I feel mistakes were made. I 4bet to isolate the pot. However, BB calls, UTG shoves a very small amount and then MP shoves 97BB. I go into the tank and decide to fold, as one of my opponents is likely to have a higher set than me: two players limped and called a raise in EP (screams pocket pair to me) and MP is screaming "I have a better hand than you". There are definitely some SD's and FD's in there too, hence my 4bet, but after it goes call, shove, reshove.. I feel that draws are no longer in the ranges of my opponents.
