You could consider to 3bet pre-flop against the CO. If he’s folding a lot on 3bets it could be a profitable move.

The flop I would most likely check/call to keep his range wider and other problem is that you get only action of top pair or better with a raise. On a draw heavy board, it will be even tougher to let him fold if you raise, but it’s indeed a good way to protect your hand, but I doubt a flush draw would fold to often on the flop.

The rest seems standard, but I would consider to bet the flop at least half pot for value and fold on a raise with top 2 pair with the straight possible for him.

As played, i dont like the check/raise on the flop. This could be a flop where you dont have a check/raising range at all.

I would Check/call flop. Check/call the turn and fold to this river if he bets it.

Check raising flop is possible when you know the opponent pays you light off. This is the valid reason (for value) and not raising for protection because your are missing the value.
