KT97ds 3bet pot, what options do we have oop?

Problem with calling is that you don't close the action and if the MP makes a big 4bet you can't call, but in game I would make a tight fold with double suited hand like this as PLO fish.

that fold would not even be "tight". it is pretty standard.. oop we want to come over the top with AA or premium KK, maybe even QQ (when we think the openraise and 3bet are so loose) or we call a hand that hits more smooth. This hand has good flushvalue, but our twopairs are often dominated by higher rundowns or pair+draws. We also dont flop straightdraws so good because the hand is too gappy. I would call something like QJT8ds or T987ds. When MP has 100bb or is folding to 3bets I would come over the top with a cold 4-bet.

Rule of thumb: Don't cold call 3bets.

In short, we have 3 reasons to play a hand:
- We have better range
- We have skill edge
- We have position

When you are cold calling 3bets, often none of these applies.

We could have a better range, like dominating rundowns that have no significant equity advantage nor foldequity. Like AJT9ds > T875ss. Or should we cold 4-bet here? We clearly do not want to get 5-bet with a hand like this one

I would be 4-betting 4-card rundowns like JT98ds to balance my AA portion of range. But there are some hands, I am not so sure if calling or folding.

100bb deep no need to balance your 4bet range.

200bb those 4bet pots are quite close to 3bet pots in 100bb game. So when you start to play deeper, then you need to have little deception on your 4bet range. As 4betting only Aces 200bb+ is same as 3betting only Aces 100bb deep. Definitely still profitable against bad players, but decent regs start to exploit you.
