I decide to 4bet as my hand is good enough and I want to avoid playing a multiway pot. When villain raises I guess folding is better as I may be facing a coinflip at best. What are your thoughts?

According to Equilab you he needs to have a range of 99+,AQs+,Aqo+ to get 51.15% equity. If you think he only does this play with QQ+ you only have 35% equity and when you add AK as well (QQ+,AKs,AKo) you have 42% equity.

I personally would fold in this situation as well. I cannot image of a spot where you are a clear favorit with AKs without any special read about villain.

Notice that we have already invested money in this pot. The pot is now 144bb and we have to call 96bb. We need to win this only 40% of the time to break even. We don't need over 50%.

Also notice that we must win. Splits won't help us. And the equity in Equilab counts splits there too.

Villain needs to have about: TT+,AJs+,KQs,AKo
And I think it could be reasonable in a 4 handed game especially if there are some dynamics.
