Against a more loose player i think it's a shove preflop, against a more tighter player should be more tricky because he should shove pre with that stack. On the flop if i hit on something probably i call, but now you have to fold. Vs a shove i think it's close because it's from MP (should be tighter shove) but probably in game i call.

Yeah shoving pre and might call flop also. We have some showdown value plus gutshot and it's sort of unlikely for villain to hit this flop unless he was trapping to begin with. Could easily have some QT etc.

It's weird he's limping with a small stack and read less I would check as well.

It's thin call on flop for sure but it's reasonable one imo. Even if he has like some QQ type preflop trap we will still have 7 outs so versus those it's basically better equity hand than e.g. 97 and fish can often take these weird flop shove lines with some of those broadway hands they wanted to see flop.

I think it's marginal to get irt in with a straght draw, but indeed your ace could be life here.
