hi, i am vikash agarwal and this year i want to make something bigger so i challange myself to earn 100k, i will update you guys whenever possible for me till than wait to see me climb the ladder.
I'm just curious where are you going to play, what games are you playing and from what bankroll are you starting.
GL!
good luck! i'm starting with $200 and I'm planning on making $100,000 too by the end of 2019. I'll play low stakes tournaments on Stars consisting on Badugi, 2-7 Single/Triple Draw, Limit Holdem, Razz, Stud/8, HORSE, 8 Game, 5 Card Draw, PLO plus other variations on Omaha, plus the $55 NLHE Sunday Marathon on PokerStars.
I was the chip leader at one point in the Sunday Marathon last weekend. I know I can win this tournament, because I find the higher stakes players play more cautiously and don't just donk off their chips like the lower stakes players do. So you can 3bet/4bet more with marginal holdings and get folds.
So I want to win the Sunday Marathon and then the Sunday Million to reach my $100K goal.
GOOD LUCK TO THE BOTH OF US!
Hello Richie,
I'll play low stakes tournaments on Stars consisting on Badugi, 2-7 Single/Triple Draw, Limit Holdem, Razz, Stud/8, HORSE, 8 Game, 5 Card Draw, PLO plus other variations on Omaha, plus the $55 NLHE Sunday Marathon on PokerStars.
Take it as an advice: If you try to beat all of them at once, you'll fail, just go for one and improve at it.
Second thing is Badugi, 2-7 Single/Triple Draw, Limit Holdem, Razz, Stud/8, HORSE, 8 Game, 5 Card Draw, are pretty dead games, yes, they're fun, but still hard to get to 100k in a year if you go with them.
Third thing is $55 NLHE Sunday Marathon on PokerStars. I mean, yes maybe you could be extremely lucky and maybe get in the bubble, but you'll most likely be loosing money, I'd recommend you to follow a bankroll management.
Good luck at the tables!

hey buddy thanks for your reply!
I was the chip leader after 4 hours of the $55 Sunday Marathon last weekend, and I got 76th place, so I know I have the game to win it.
Secondly, I think I will still play all the games on Stars. I'm only very weak at Badugi and even then I read a strategy article on it on this website last night.
Thirdly, I know all the money is in NLHE. That is true. I'm planning on winning the Sunday Marathon and then Sunday Million this year. That will get me to $100K. I'm just using the other mixed game tournaments to gain experience, so when I eventually do go to the WSOP, take part in SCOOP and WCOOP, I will have a good chance in all the tournaments.
Lastly, I just thought i'd say that there is no point being pessimistic when it comes to poker. Optimism is key!
Thanks for reading - even though this is someone else's thread
