Pre-Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with A♣ A♥
2 players fold, CO raises to $0.30, BTN 3-bets to $1.05, 1 fold, Hero 4-bets to $3.50, CO calls $2.79 (all-in), BTN calls $2.45

4-betting here, trying to get the short stack to shove. CO flats instead of pushing which makes me range him on TT-QQ, AK, AQs.

Flop: ($10.14) J♣ T♠ Q♦ (3 players, 1 all-in)
Hero bets $6.26, BTN raises to $10.55 (all-in), Hero calls $4.29

- Is the bet a mistake here and I should just check/fold? It seems his whole range beats me on this flop?
- Should I shove if I decide to bet instead of going 75%? Seems I am commited to an all in any case? Is there merit to betting small (20%-30% of the pot) and then folding?

First I would like you to notice that when CO calls, he is all-in. He can't push as your 4bet is larger than his stack. Therefore he totally can have anything and you can't exclude any top hands.

OTF you have a difficult situation because that board totally sucks. I think it hits BTN's range pretty hard, he has straight, sets and 2pair hands. I don't think betting is that good idea. And now your bet size totally sucks. I think you should indeed shove if you plan to bet. But can you fold out better hands with your bet and does villain really have any weaker hands he could call with?

I'm curious, if you believe his whole range beats you, why do you call his raise?

Pretty sure this is just me overplaying aces - the correct line seems to be check/fold flop the more I think about it. Just wanted to hear if others feel the same :f_cool:
