I played a bunch of 6+ on ipoker when it was released and whilst enjoyable I did find the rules changes a little too much for my poor brain to handle.
Now that PokerStars is using a version with only hank ranking change of flushes beating fullhouses it feels a bit better but getting used to the new blind structure is hard. From what i understand this is generally how they do it in the triton poker series.
I did a little video the other day trying to break the game down.
Anyone here any good with 6+ and which rule set do you prefer?
Straights > trips? or the other way round.
Also with the new structure I'm doing a lot of limping as the odds we get are just soo good. Any reason why you might want to raise only like some players have been doing?
(I'm a nit, don't wanna drop >10 BIs without sufficient EV winrate evidence; I mean, whatever I lose beyond that, I have to earn back at lower variance games first before hitting a 6+ table again.)
