Don't like this 3bet pre at all. Just flat this combo.

As played just check somewhere instead of losing the maximum of chips without even seeing the showdown. That's not quite the goal of this game you know.

Are you 3betting preflop because villain is known to raise loosely pre? If yes, folding trips seems excessive? If no, then 3bet pre seems excessive unless perhaps villain is known to steal a lot from the co/bu.

OTR after villains bet there is $5,60 + 2,45 in the pot = ca. $8 and 2,45 to call gives you ca. 3 to 1 for a call you need to win less then 25% to make it profitable.

I dunno, I think this hand comes down a lot to your perceived image by villain, and how loose you think he is.
At these stakes people are likely to valuebet worse hands than trips king on the river I think. Any Ace for example, hands like JJ,QQ,1010-77

But probably, given no info on table images, the easiest thing to fix about this line is what FloXy suggested; to flat it. and checking the flop and river perhaps.

The 3bet being OK depends on the villain's steal%.
Fuck it, i would call it.

I would just call pre. As played would just probably check OTF.

Your bet on the river is small and now you get decent odds to call his raise I think. Now it's more likely he could try to steal the pot, but it depends per villian.

Flat pre, check call river is what I would do.

3b pre is fine (with certain frequencies). Flop and turn are cool, even though sizings aint optimal imo. River, just dont do this, you complicate your gameplan... x and reevaluate based on the sizing villain uses.
