I have an idea that is better for poker SnG pro to open new table than to join to table opened by somebody else.
Weak pleayers often do not have intention to play on specific type of tournament before logging to poker room. They just want to play poker for fun and register to this tournaments which have best chance to start soon (for example 5 people already registered to tournament dedicated for 6 players). They don't need to open new table and wait / maybe they also don't want to invite sharks to their games.
Pro pokers players usually know what kind of tournament they are inted to play before logging to poker room. They make table selection. They are aware that rather better than worse opponents open new tables. So if they see that 1 person is already registered to the tournament dedicated for 6 people, they can assume that there will play this 1 good opponent + 4 others. At the same time if they open new table, they can expect just 5 other players and maybe include 0 pro opponents. Pro players don't afraid to invite sharks to the tournament which they open because they know that sharks also look for poorer opponents and shark don't really want to fight against another pro.
So I think that pro players should to open new table instead of joing table opened to registration by somebody else.
Also when I see that for example that nobody play DON 20 euro at the moment, I can assume that there are no pro opponents who intend to play DON 20 at this time.
But when I see that few tables DON 10 euro are running, so for sure some good players begin registration to this type of games.
