[PLO5] Flopped nuts str8, turn paired board

Hi aipekuvs ,
When the real experts reply, I'd like to know what they think of completing pre-flop -- you hand needs help to get nut straights and flushes, but it is too strong to fold.

Nothing wrong from there -- villain surely isn't going to raise as a bluff on a paired board -- or is that a possibility at this limit?

Can he raise with just trips?

I'm really curious to hear what the experts say...

Yes Vorpal the preflop spot is interesting. I personnaly would have folded it because the 4 & 2 make the hand pretty crappy.

Fold preflop. As played, bet flop, check/call turn, why bet when most likely holding to have you beat hits? I'll never understand this "logic", keep bluffs in his range by check/calling as well and re-evaluate river based on information you have on them and betsize etc. I hate the bet/fold line on turn, so exploitable.

There is also no FD on turn to protect against, so betting is just not good, no reason to go for 3 streets here against a smaller straight. If you get a check back, bet river and probably fold if it gets raised.. again depends on information on opponent.

Checking on turn felt just to weak, but I guess I should have went for check/call there.

Fold double suited hand for price of 0,5bb? The suits are pretty high, the question should be whether to raise or not. Hand is not good enough to raise there, complete is just fine.

On the flop donk is mandatory, on the turn I would check and then see what opponent does. If he bets big and you have no information, just fold it and move on.
