hi,

can I assume that a reg shoves wide enough over a limp to call this? I think its maybe a bottom of range shove.

IPoker, $4.53 Buy-in (40/80 blinds, 10 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 5 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

Hero (SB): 1,555 (19.4 bb)
BB: 625 (7.8 bb)
MP: 4,675 (58.4 bb)
CO: 910 (11.4 bb)
BTN: 1,235 (15.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A♣: Q♦:
MP calls 80, CO folds, BTN raises to 1,225 and is all-in, 3 folds

Results:

Seems like a standard 3bet shove indeed and the MP player will fold almost any hand.
Even against his calling range you are in good shape with in mind he isn't limping top hands like JJ and AK most of the time.
