well if you 3bet I would never fold to a 4bet in a late position vs sb your stack. This is why I tend to 3bet shove this if I want to 3bet. Your are oop postflop and getting it in pre is easier. As played he commits himself to the pot with this 4bet. This looks quite strong. You have to call anyway at this point but I wouldnt like this at all because it looks like a permium hand. Nevertheless, the best play if you dont want to stack off is to just flat his raise pre. Its much easier to play the suited combo of AQ than the offsuited combo postflop.

Isn't 3-bet shoving here a little bit too aggressive with an effective stack of 37BB ?
I do understand that simply flatting with AQs might be a good option vs villain since AQs still plays fine postflop, even oop.

But AQo would still be a difficult hand to play here.
Simply 3-bet shoving with 37BB doesn't look like the best option here imo...

yep you are correct. Its like I said you have to know what to do faceing 4bet.

with aqo I would 3bet and stack off pre or villain is tight. If he is tight I would flat aqs too and let go unimproved most of the time. 3betting gets even better if he overfolds to 3bets.
Shoving is an option if villain is agressive because they stack of pre to light and fice you tough spots postflop opp.

3bet is a decent move, but I don't think you can profitable 5bet shove against a TAG when he's committed if you would do that and is folding better I think. In most cases a 3bet of 7bb is enough.
