2 handed/HU in a FR table. Saw some fishy plays from this player when the table was full.
I truly hate play HU against players that I don't easily get: that don't easily fit as a regular, a station or a maniac and I believe I played this hand very poorly.
Well, when the table was full, villain looked very passive.
When we start playing HU, things changed a bit. Sometimes he become aggressive without any apparent reason.
He had been limping a lot (even in position) and I had giving up raising some ok hands (such as KQo, ATo) even when he limped IP, because it was hard to make him fold to a cbet afterwards.
Usually, if he limped and didn't bet the flop or the turn, he didn't have anything at all.
His open raises were weird. Sometimes he raised 3bb. Sometimes, 10bb. But he didn't open much.
He didn't 3bet much either, but they looked weirdly postflop (he played 2 3bet pots weirdly).
All that said to sum up as: I have no idea about villain's ranges neither when/why he become aggressive.
He was mostly passive, but with weird aggressive lines.

I'm not loving life here ('cause villain didn't 3bet much), but if I'm folding AJs to a 3bet in HU and in position, am I going to continue with what? KK+?

F. big cbet in a 3bet pot. I have only a mediocre tp and some backdoor equity. I'm hoping he would slow down on the turn.

A blank and he cbets that big? WTF? AA? QQ? AQ? A4? 99? Q9? 44?

At this point, I don't beat anything apart from a bluff.
AK, AQ beat me. Any Qx beats me. Any random 2 pair or set.
I guess I'm just curious, here, and keep repeating to myself that I have TP in HU.
