Hi all,

I'm not sure if I played this hand as well as possible. Wouldn't be better to push my stack at the flop as c-bet? Or is c-bet right decision when I'm not in position?

Preflop: Hero is SB with A:s, K:s.
UTG2 calls $0.05, 5 folds, Hero raises to $0.25, BB folds, UTG2 calls $0.20.

Flop: ($0.55) T:c, 5:s, 2:d (2 players)
Hero bets $0.30, UTG2 raises to $0.8, Hero folds, UTG2 gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $0.85.

Nice hand. According to basic strategy you played 100% correct. We push direct on flop when c-bet is 50% or more of your stack and 0.30$ is less than 50% of your stack on the flop.

When you get familiar with equity, outs and odds, you can call this hand because of good odds and you have 2 overcards and backdoor flushdraw, but that's a bit advanced for NL5 and needs some calculations.
