I'm curious about your thoughts on how I played this hand.
Partypoker, $0.01/$0.02 PLO FASTFORWARD
Hero (BU): $2.05
SB: $2.01
BB: $2.13
Preflop: Hero is BU with A♥:J♦:T♣:3♥:
Hero raises to $0.07, SB folds, BB raises to $0.22
Flop: ($0.45) Q♦:5♠:2♥: (2 players)
BB bets $0.19, Hero calls
Turn: ($0.83) 9♥: (2 players)
BB bets $0.35, Hero calls
River: ($1.53) T♥: (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.15
My thoughts:
PRE-FLOP: Opening this hand is standard and calling a 3bet is fine ip I think.
FLOP: the flop we only have a gutshot and backdoor flush, villain only bets 42%, so I decide to call.
TURN: We improve to a oesd and a flush draw, again villain only bets 42%, so I call again
RIVER: We have the nutflush, villain checks, I decide to bet big anyway because Iexpect villain to either call or fold to any bet.
Would shoving turn be better? (because when we hit the river it's hard to get value with the best hand?)
