Preflop
After the 4x raise from SB reggy style player I decided to just call with JJ to get the fishy style player from MP into the pot. That might not the best play. As standard I think would be to ISO 3bet to 10BB for value here.

Flop
SB cbets 1/3 pot, I have a top set and the board is flushdraw heavy. I put SB on random Ax, strong K or overpair here as well as the flush draw, thats why I decided to raise 3,5x here for value and protection, especially with one more opp next to me who could have a smaller set or flush draw.

Turn
After get called by fishy MP we have the worst card OTT. I check my top set to get some bluffs here because all value hands would have a difficult call to my all in here I think, except the flush of course. However my GUT says that opp has a flush and that feeling gets even stronger after his 65BB eff stack shove here to 47BB pot. I was thinking can he gets here and play like this with pocket 55 or 33 sets, I still think there is a small chance as fishy players like limping small pocket pairs preflop. Even if I am against flush, I still have some 23% equity to win a huge pot that probably would guarantee me getting in to the money and play for bigger prize. I decided to call. However I did not have the right odds against a flush, I was given 37% pot odds and my set had only 23% to improve to full house. That makes me feel like that was a MISTAKE in the end of the day...

Please give me your opinion about this hand, tell me if I am a Donk or that was not that bad :f_pleased:

Cheers,

Seems fine to me. Pre is standard iso 3bet but there is some merit in just calling also. Though majority of time I would still 3bet and thing with fish is that they might even limp-call versus 3bet also. Calling has downside of getting into sandwich position between aggressor and limper. Also stacks are fairly deep so we are not extremely happy in that spot in many boards.

Postflop is well played. I would never fold set there. Sure its not great spot but with fish there is always sort of random spew factor and they can turn up with weird hand combos. He could have some A5, A3 also imo.
