I was wondering is it best to protect your hand on the flop if you think that you have the best hand but it is vulnerable, even if calling would be profitable for your oponent?

The only reason it's profitable for him to call is because of the potsize, it's MORE EV+ for you to bet cause you have 70% equity or whatever and he has 30% which is only a profitable call because the pot is big enough.
A profitable call for him doesn't mean a non-profitable bet for you.
okay, so you should look at it for an equity point of view? im gettin 70% of the money going in and they are getting 30%!
