Villian is : 22 - 12 , 89hands

What you think ? Was it too tight ?
1 reason why i folded was that tournament was at stage where just a couple had to fall out to get ITM. So basically bubble.
This was 1st time i see villian act like this. After his actions i was thinking, does he really gonna do that kind of moves here with anything lower than KK+ ?
So i was ofc a bit scared to not get ITM, but is it ever +EV to fold here, according to the situation i described ?
Thank you.

QQ is for me most of the time a stack off. Only against a nit I would fold this hand.
Around the bubble is folding not to bad, but in the end you are playing to get so far as possible in the tournament and a min cash is most of the time less than 2 times the buy-inn.

I was lucky enough to get as far enough to get 9x buy in back :)
But i get your point.
Sracking off with QQ should be easy choice, nothing much to consider. Usually.
Things are not that easy however. QQ is very tricky hand.
1 particular situation i had couple weeks ago put me thinking a bit more of this hand. I played sunday million and got ITM, but lost my game because of all-in with QQ against AK.
OK. I think there was nothing wrong with that play. It was blind vs blind situation, and i had 30BB, and it was ITM.
However. If you ever played sunday million, you know that the tournament is very slow and you have much time. Blind levels 15min.
So, according to that, being ITM with 30BB is very good situation. So, i think that folding here would not be very bad choice, and could even be quite benefitial.
When you can put your opponent to specific hand for an example AK. Your QQ vs AK is quite tricky coinflip.
I could fold my QQ in above described situation, and wait for better situation(s), at the same time progressing higher in ITM levels. There is much much time, 30BB, ITM, and blind levels 15min.
So what i try to say is that QQ is a very good hand, and stack off most of the time, but folding it pre-flop from time to time is not that bad as well and is potentially even the best play ? Or what you think ?
Then again, this gets me thinking, that maybe i just overthink simple situations. QQ, ofcourse all-in, not much to think. Lost, well, bad luck, no can do, it was good play, lets wait for another one to hit big.
Being too good or just good can be harmful, right ? You know what i mean ?
Just yesterday had an situation where me and 2 opponents got after raise, reraise to the flop, me holding AK, flop comes 34K, 1 guy raise, I go all-in, 1 calls with 99, another one folded and the same time showed his hand and it was QQ.
Good fold right ? Flop 34K, turn came out K and river was the Q. Suddenly fold with QQ was not that good, but turned out to be kinda epic.
This is that. Being good or too good can be bad sometimes, but this is really nothing you should worry about in the long run.
So that being sayd. What you think ?
Should one go all-in with QQ always and not to be worry about losing few coinflips every now and then. Or ? Should sometimes consider folding QQ, for the best results over a long run ?
What you think wich of these choices would be more +EV in the long term ?
Thank you.

QQ is a hand I'm not a fan of cold calling with in mind it's the 3th strongest hand and the change you will play multi way is decent if you just call. Post-flop QQ could easily end up the 2nd best hand if you play multi way.

I understand, but AA could easily end up the 2nd hand on flop.
If you put this hand in ICM its only a fold if the vilan are AA or KK, and for nit the player are you can only give them this hands.
