So, I was playing this table with a aggrofish directly on my left (his stats were #52/VPIP:81/PFR:15/3B:3) and twice in a row he had me beat on the river. First time I had flopped top set, and he made a straight on the river, the other one I had TPTK and he rivered two pair.

Anyway, this hand is pretty straight-forward, not much to analyze, but I decide to take the risk and not 3-bet preflop, hoping to get action from him.... And the best scenario possible happens! He 3-bets and its all folds right back to me :f_drink:

I 4-bet him and he jams with......Q8s lol

So satisfying to stack him and get back the blinds he stole me on the river the past few hands, and so much more :)

Seems well played with the reads on the BTN player.
Not sure why he would 5bet jam there. Your call/4bet line looks extreme strong, but it worked well for you.

Don't look for logic in fishes mind. He probably just felt for shoving at that moment :)

@biel1996,
From your argumentation and the part that he got you on the River twice before I feel like you had a need to pay him back? That's a mindset leak. Try to avoid this kind of plays.
Also I like to have this kind of players on my right so I most of the time have a position on them. Makes your life so much easier.

81/15 with 3% 3b is not in my book of "hyper aggressive" but I guess against this spewtard it didn't matter.
This is not a hand that you or we can learn from.
